So much for Jason being a true friend. TRUE friends stab you in the front! That's the last time I trust him... as I'm dead. The idea of this strip was inspired by a topic on a message board forum, asking what you would do if you opened your door and Jason was standing before you. Some suggested they would invite him in, hand him a beer, and spend the night watching the movies in which he starred in. But look what happens. HE'S JASON, FOR GOD SAKES.

As my original title for a comic strip was taken, I decided to settle on the name "August The 15th", as it is my date of birth, as well as the day this webcomic debuted. But the inspiration probably came from the fact that I'm a huge fan of the Friday the 13th series. So Jason was bound to show up somewhere, so why not on HIS birthday? Well, he was born in June, but it WAS on a Friday the 13th...

And in case anyone was wondering, the design of this Jason is based off the costume utilized in Freddy vs. Jason.
